CMA Australia was blessed to be involved in living out our motto, "Unity in Diversity," by being involved in the Australian Combined Christian Motorcycle Clubs Conference. This event was held at Brotherhood CMC’s Clubhouse in Parramatta, Sydney NSW on March 24-26 2006 (Fri-Sun).
This was exciting event, attended by a number of CMAers from different states, plus representatives from all the major Christian bike clubs across Australia with people coming from as far afield as Nth Qld, Sth Aust, Victoria and NSW.

Friday saw myself, along with Iain & Naomi from CMA SA travel to Sydney from Griffith in NSW where I live and Iain & Naomi had ridden to the day previous, we arrived in Sydney (Emu Plains to precise) at Mick Davies' place where we were staying, Then off to Parramatta for offical registration and an overview of the weekend ahead.

Saturday we were up early for a quick ride into Parramatta from Emu Plains, for a full day of speakers, fellowship and good food, What more would a person want!! I was given the priveldge to address the conference on the subjet of "Appropriate Insignia for Christian Clubs"(there is a DVD copy of this available if you would like to see it). Many other club members spoke during the day on an array of subjects. Saturday evening seen us all siting down to a banquet dinner fit for King's Kids.

Sunday, unfortunately I was not able to stay for the Sunday Service and final farewells as I had to be in Wagga by lunch time for my grandson's 3rd birthday.
My personal opinion of the weekend, "it was a great success, and a priveledge to be involved with, seeing the maturing of the Christian bike scene in Australia and the desire of the clubs to work together, I would encourage all CMAers to take the time to be at the next one."

Thanks for the fellowship to all who came to Sydney last weekend.
By acclamation it was clear that being 'One in Christ' inspite of our differences was the focus of our time together.
Clearly we have a lot to thank God for and to pray for in the future.
May God bless you all in your journey until we meet again in 3 years!
