Statement of Belief

  1. I believe God to be the creator of all things;
  2. Jesus Christ is the only answer to every person's spiritual needs;
  3. Jesus Christ's death for our sins and His resurrection are the basis of all Christian life;
  4. The Holy Spirit is the source of power for Christian living;
  5. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are three persons, yet one God;
  6. The Bible is the authoritative word of God in all circumstances of life;
  7. I have turned away from the sins of my past life, confessed them to God and asked Him to forgive me of them;
  8. I have committed my life to Jesus Christ and now acknowledge Him as my Lord and Saviour; and
  9. I will endeavour to remain faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed in the Bible and to the aims of the Christian Motorcycle Association of Queensland Incorporated.

What is a Christian Biker

Many bikers enjoy motorcycling because of the exhilaration and freedom that can be experienced on the open road with the sun at their backs and the wind in their face. For many this, combined with a section of winding road can provide one of the most enjoyable experiences of life.

Christians too enjoy a freedom. This freedom is not so much a feeling of physical freedom, but spiritual freedom. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ mankind has been freed of the effects of rebelling against God. This rebellion (sin), which could be seen as merely ignoring God or actively opposing Him, spoils the relationship with God each person is meant to have. However, through Jesus Christ, the relationship can be restored and the individual freed from the consequence of this rebellion. Jesus said that if we live just as He taught us then we will know the truth (about God) and this truth will set us free. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36.

God wants us to be free from the way sin can spoil our lives. It spoils our lives through a broken relationship with God, and imperfect relationships with our mates and those we love. And in the end, rebelling against God will bring death. But God wants us to live in continual harmony with both Him and those around us, and that's why He sent Jesus. "For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

The great thing about this is we don't have to do anything to earn or deserve it. God accepts us just as we are, His undeserved favour (grace) is given to us. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no-one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9.

So the Christian biker is one who is able to experience two types of freedom. The enjoyment that comes out of riding, and the enjoyment that comes from being freed from sin and its consequences, through believing in Jesus Christ. Being a Christian doesn't mean you can't be a biker, and vice-versa. In fact, being a Christian can increase your enjoyment of riding, and the creation God has made for us to enjoy.

  • We are a Christian organisation seeking to provide fellowship to Christian motorcyclists and outreach to non-Christians.

Our Vision:-

  • To be a unified, yet diverse group of motorcycle enthusiasts who have the respect of our Community and other motorcycling organisations.

Our Goals:-

  • In accord with our motto "Unity In Diversity" we will encourage membership without preference for sex, age, denomination or motorcycle type.
  • We will provide fellowship for Christian motorcyclists in order that they may grow in their personal walk with God.
  • We will reach out primarily to non-Christian motorcyclists in order to introduce them to the Lord Jesus Christ.
