Who can become a member?
You can be a member if you:
What do I have to do to stay a member?
In short - pay your annual membership fee. You are not required to attend a
certain number of meetings or rides. But of course we'd love to have you along as much as possible. Continue to comply with the constitution.
What do I get for my membership fee?
The CMA publishes a quarterly Newsletter - a hardcopy will be mailed out to you if we can't email a copy, which is our preferred means of delivery.
Full voting rights at meetings and eligibility to be part of the organizing committee.
Immense satisfaction of supporting our non-profit organization.
What happens once I have sent in my application form?
The committee will consider whether or not to grant you membership. In order to
decide, they may be contacting your pastor / minister to find out about your
standing with our Lord Jesus. If they cannot contact your pastor / minister, then
the committee will have to get to know you at a convenient time or perhaps
talk to a current member who knows you. All in all the CMA is trying to establish
that you are 'fair-dinkum' about your Christianity. The committee meets once a
month, so it may take a little while before you receive word about your membership
status. If you have
submitted your application and nobody from the CMA has made contact with you
within a couple of weeks, then please contact us. A 3 month's probation applies, so please attend as many CMA events as possible during this phase.
