Chris's Icecream Ride 2009

On Saturday  7 March, Dave and I put our plan in action to take a young man for a motorcycle ride.   Christopher suffers from cerebral palsy and is mostly confined to a wheelchair.    Christopher is interested in motorcycles, and was very excited when CMA helped to build the fence at his church last year. (Le Fevre Baptist)   Unfortunately he couldn't make it to the church that day to meet us.
So for a few hours on Saturday, we swapped his wheelchair for a Yamaha powered model and took him for a run up and down the coast roads in my sidecar.   To help make this a really special occasion for him, we need lots of Thanks to all the CMA riders who turned up to make this a really special occasion for him by riding as a group.
From Chris's house we rode through the Adelaide parklands and headed west for the coast.    The icecream at Semaphore was as fantastic as usual!
