Winter Solstice Ride 2007

Great to see 16 riders come along this morning to the Winter Solstice.

Yes, it was cold in Adelaide at 6am when we got together at the Shell on West Tce, but it only got a lot colder as we rode up to Gawler via One Tree Hill, then onto Williamstown and back through Kersbrook. We all enjoyed a coffee a hot breakfast at Parafield Gardens to complete the ride. Well done Glenn for leading the ride.

We met the Willsmore family from Cambodia at the club. Brent & Diane and their 5 children were there to thank us for the donation that you made to help them buy a scooter after Diane’s was stolen recently. What an inspiration to meet a family who are making some huge sacrifices to help educate children of missionaries in Cambodia. Pray for their 5 week stay in South Australia to see family & friends. Pray for them as they commit themselves to a further 3 years in Cambodia.

We met many other CMAers at the Club for breakfast who come out to meet us, including Naomi’s parents, Malcolm & Faye from KI and her sister Michelle. Great time.
