National Run 2006 Tasmania
Members from all over Australia met at the National Run held in Tasmania this year.  The Tasmanians hospitality and organisation was exceptionally good.  There was two rides organised for the weekend through the wonderful countryside with no accidents!  Tassie put on some nice weather for us (low 20's) which was a big relief for those riders who had ridden through snow and sleet in Victoria on their way down.

The state challenge (tug of war) was left undecided after the rope broke.

The Tassie guys and girls have organised a post run tour for those motorcyclists who wish to see a bit more of what Tassie has to offer.

Bush Pig Rally - Sept 06
The Bush Pig rally is one of my favourites.  It is a fantastic campsite amongst the tall gum trees next to the river (even if it is dry at this time of year).  I always enjoy their gymkhana and meeting up with all the familiar faces.

Thank you Greg and the rest of the MRA team for organising this rally every year.

If you weren't there, you missed an excellent burnout!

Garage Sale - Aug 06
Thankyou to everyone who donated goods to be sold at our Garage $ale.  We raised over $700.  The proceeds went towards the purchase of a motorcycle for a Pastor in Northern Thailand.
Wombat Rally - Aug 06
The rally was as good as always and the catered meals were delicious.  There was a large contingent of CMA'ers camping amongst the 3 corner jacks.

We had the privilege of meet Eduardo Prata.  He is from Brazil and was travelling across Australia by motorcycle.  He met up with some rally goers at a Servo and followed them into the rally.  He eventually completed his trip across Australia in 31 days covering 10,220kms.

The bonfire was as big as usual (HUGE).

The weather was perfect. No rain but lots of beautiful sunshine.
