History of CMA:
In 1979 a meeting took place in Sydney between representatives
of two Christian motorcycle clubs, (The Brotherhood and The
Disciples) and a number of individual riders. Their intention
was to form an association of Christian riders which would
enable them to be linked in fellowship no matter where they
lived in the State. Since then the CMA has spread to every
State in Australia and in the year 2000 it was moved at the
Annual National Run that the name Christian Motorcyclists’
Association of Australia be adopted.
What is CMA’s purpose?
CMA’s purpose is to outreach to others by sharing the message
of God’s love, shown in Jesus, encouraging and nurturing Christian
motorcyclists to help them grow in their faith. CMA consists
of people of varied ages and backgrounds riding a wide range
of motorcycles.

Our objectives are:
To stimulate personal faith in and love for the Lord Jesus
Christ among members of the association and individual motorcyclists.
To help equip Christians for a lifetime of serving God and
to actively witness Christ to motorcyclists. To actively foster
links with other state chapters of CMA Australia and other
like minded clubs and associations wherever they are found.
To join others in promoting enjoyable and safe motorcycling.
Why be involved in CMA?
To build bridges of friendship through the enjoyment of motorcycle
riding and as a Christian organization to enjoy fellowship
and involvement in activities in a manner that is honouring
to God and supported by the Christian churches, being led
by the Holy Spirit of God.
