AGM & Dinner
CMA Tas enjoyed an evening at Villarett
Gardens, Moltema on the 26th June 2011 on the occasion
of the AGM and Annual Dinner. The venue, food and company
were first class.
About 30 members, wives and friends attended.
All office bearers of the previous year
were reinstalled.
During the evening new members Darryl
Tuppen and Peter Meijer were presented with badges and
FJ John Campbell, Richard McLachlan and Phil Parsons
were presented with 10 year badges. An award was made
to Rob Groenewold by Phil Parsons for the best excuse
for non attendance at rides.
Generous sponsorship allowed an auction
to be conducted and as a result, those present contributed
to over $800 being raised. This money will go towards
assisting families to attend the 2012 National Run in
Tasmania.
I would personally like to thank the sponsors,
attendees and those who helped with the running of the
night for their participation.
